48-jähriger Patient; Synonym: Epithelioma calcificans Malherbe. Das Pilomatrixom ist ein benigner, selten maligne verlaufender Tumor. Es ist eine Neoplasie aus der Matrix des Haarfollikels. Das Pilomatrixom kann an allen behaarten Stellen auftreten, v.a. im Kopfbereich. Das Pilomatrixom ist bei Kindern häufiger als bei Erwachsenen und wird klinisch häufig fehldiagnostiziert.
