Congenital Glaucoma or Cornel Hereditary Endothelial Dystrophy (CHED)
Bilateral diffusely cloudy corneas and photophobia in a young child require exclusion of congenital glaucoma, particularly with enlarged corneal diameter (buphthalmus). If the corneal diameter is not enlarged, as in the picture above, recessive form of corneal hereditary endothelial dystrophy (CHED)must be considered.
