Penetrating Corneo-scleral Injury with Iris prolapse

Penetrating Corneo-scleral Injury with Iris prolapse
Penetrating corneal injury due to a nail. Iris tissue prolapsed through the corneal wound and the pupil peaked toward the wound. An orbital radiograph is mandatory to rule out any intraocular foreign body. Under anesthesia the corneal wound was found to be extended 3 mm into the sclera.
