Iris Prolaps, Perforating Injury
After perforating injury, which is usually located inferiorly in lid fissure, iris tissue is incarcerated in the wound resulting in distortion of the pupil: here coloboma formation. Iris tissue clogs the wound but is exposed to infection. Injection of the conjunctiva.
