57-year-old woman, visual acuity BCVA 0.1 OD, 0.8 OS, intraocular pressure 24 mmHg OD, 20 mmHg OS, Major complaints: subacute painless visual loss in the right eye General medical history: setting of hypertension. Ocular medical history: gradual visual loss, no amaurosis fugax. Laboratory work-up excluded inflammatory arteritis (BKS:5/22,CRP:11,4). Findings: MRI scan angiography verified occlusion of the right internal carotid artery.
