| This patient from Avellino, Italy, has a variant of granular dystrophy in as much as granular snowflake-like, but sharply delineated opacities in the anterior layers of the cornea stain like the opacities in granular dystrophy. In addition there are double-contoured linear opacities in midstroma that consist of amyloid as in lattice dystrophy. | |
