A 43 year old female presented to clinic for pain and redeness in her right eye. Examination revealed scar mark on her forehead on right side. She was given treatment with hot iron rod, which is still considered a cure for eye problems in rural population in India.
Scraping revealed septate fungal hyphae. Patient eventually recovered with topical antifungal drops.
