Ecchymosis
Periorbital and sub-conjunctival ecchymosis are the anterior segment equivalent of Purtscher's retinopathy and usually a consequence of compression injury to the chest If there is absence of such a compressive chest or scull fracture a coagulopathy must be excluded.
