Irregular Corneal Topography in Subepithelial Calcifications (Corneal Topography)

Irregular Corneal Topography in Subepithelial Calcifications (Corneal Topography)
Corneal Topography: irregular anterior corneal surface as shown on the anterior curvature map. The red arrow points to corneal irregularities due to sub Bowman calcification as shown in the anterior curvature map. Patient: 28 years old female. Ocular Medical History: gradual deterioration of visual acuity in both eyes. Other Findings: Anterior OCT: subepithelial lesions, inferior of Bowman‘s layer. Scheimpflug image (Pentacam): subepithelial lesions. Slitlamp: revealed calcification inferior of Bowman’s layer. Discussion: The Pentacam is very useful in estimating sub Bowman’s lesions.
