Retinopathic Visual Field Defect
Visual dysfunction related to retinal disease tends to be restricted to the site(s) of pathology. The corresponding scotomas are mirror images of the retinal lesions, reflecting both their location and their shape. In this case, the fields and the corresponding fluorescein angiographic images are juxtaposed so as to demonstrate the remarkable correspondence between the retinal lesions and the resultant field defects. (The angiograms are inverted for the purpose of comparison).
