Tiny Residual Detachments after Reattachment

Tiny Residual Detachments after Reattachment
After successful reattachment of a retina, in the early postoperative period, multiple small round, less pigmented flecks are seen located between retina and pigment epithelium. They represent tiny residual pockets of detachment. These detachments are often difficult to see. With the advent of OCT they are diagnosed more frequently.
