Depigmentation of Skin of Lids and Face after Thiotepa-therapy

Depigmentation of Skin of Lids and Face after Thiotepa-therapy
Thiotepa has antimitotic properties and has been used as a local adjunct to pterygium surgery. In addition to acute conjunctival hyperemia, later allergic reactions and a sharply defined complete depigmentation of the skin of the lid and face may occur, especially in darkly pigmented individuals.(AFIP, Washington DC)
