Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) Syndrome, Myelinated Corneal Nerves
Tumors of endocrine glands (medullar thyroid carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, mucosal neuroma) show prominent myelinated nerve fibers of the cornea (here in retrograde illumination) in addition to conjunctival neuromas and thickened lids. Autosomal dominant inheritance.
