Retinopathic Visual Field Defect, Retinitis Pigmentosa
Large, dense, annular field defects occupy the mid-periphery of each eye. Although the rings are incomplete nasally, they do not respect the horizontal meridian. In addition, they lie external to the blind spots. Such defects are referred to as “mid-peripheral ring scotomas.”
