Microsporidial Keratoconjunctivitis
This clinical picture is highlighting presence of SPK like lesions on the cornea which are elevated and may take up fluorescein stain, seen better on Cobalt Blue filter on slit lamp examination. This condition is commonly seen in Monsoon months in India. Patients present with red eye, foreign body sensation and photophobia. occasionally SPKs may be associated with fine Keratic precipitates on the underlying endothelium and at times with mild underlying stromal haze.
