reduced nerve fiber layer thickness on infarction of the posterior cerebral artery (OCT-Zirkular-Scan, R/L)
The nerve fiber layer thickness is significantly reduced (OD>OS); OD 57 µm, OS 60 µm. The etiology is suggested to be responsible simultanously by (1) transsynaptic degeneration (simple optic atrophy) and (2) by glaucomatous optic atrophy (IOP max 23 mmHg).
