Lenticonus anterior

Lenticonus anterior
Slit lamp photograph of a patient of Alport Syndrome showing Anterior Lentoconus. Note the slit beam showing a sudden increased curvature towards the center of the lens. Similar anterior lenticonus was present in both eyes. The patient had proven Bilateral Sensorineural deafness. Kidney function was apparently normal at the time of evaluation. A diagnosis of Alport Syndrome was made based on these findings.
