Solar Retinopathy During Sun Exposure (Mosaic, Colour and OCT)
OCT through the right eye fovea showing defects in the inner segment, outer segment. Hyperreflectivity was not noted in the external limiting membrane anterior to the lesion. A small reddish spot (arrow) was seen in the fovea of the right eye. 73 years of age, male, VA bcva RA 0.6, LA 0.8. Solar retinopathy came from prolonged exposure to solar radiation, viewing of a solar eclipse in the age of 12 years. Symptoms are asymmetric and include blurred vision.
