CT scan of the orbit shows a proptosed right globe with a hyperdense focus (metallic foreign body) at the temporal aspect of the anterior vitreous. There is swelling of the sclera and the periorbital tissue and increased density of intraocular tissuas, a typical sign of panophthalmitis.
