Valsalva Retinopathy

Valsalva Retinopathy
The sudden increase in venous blood pressure (Blunt trauma with thorax compression) led to sublaminar and multiple intraretinal hemorrhages. The intraretinal hemorrhages are striped as they follow the nerve fibers. Delineation of the sublaminar hemorrhage is seen in the circularly arranged bleached blood (this may also be caused by cotton-wool spots). In the center is the remnant of the dark blood clot.
