Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy, Vitreous Hemorrhage (#1)
Slitlamp examination shows the vitreous full of red blood. The most anterior vitreous is bleached which may indicate a previous hemorrhage. This patient has been treated for type 2 diabetes for 20 years. He had pan retinal photocoagulation 1 year ago. Glycemic control was poor. He presented with sudden loss of vision for the past 3 days.
