Choroidal Effusion, Ultrasound
The B-scan ultrasound shows two opposing spherical smooth detachment of intraocular tissue. The detachments meet in the center (kissing). The space under the retina is empty and thus contains clear fluid. This is a serous detachment of the innermost layers of the choroid with the retina staying attached to the pigment epithelium.
