Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma, Ischemic Infarct of Iris
Atrophic areas of the iris may develop after ischemic infarcts caused by an acute rise in intraocular pressure. Only collagen fibers (grayish) survive. A peripheral laser iridotomy at 11 o'clock was performed to terminate the pupillary block.
