Valsalva Retinopathy

Valsalva Retinopathy
Bleeding from a retinal vessel after sudden increases of venous pressure (lifting, coughing, vomiting). These hemorrhages are usually intraretinal as the round shape suggests, i.e. they are under the internal limiting membrane. The fine yellowish line at the top of the accumulation consists of bleached blood.
