Çhoroidal Effusion, Ultrasound
The B-scan ultrasound shows a spherical smooth detachment of intraocular tissue. The detachments meet in the center (kissing). The space under the retina is empty and thus contains no blood. This is a serous detachment of the innermost layers of the choroid with the retina staying attached to the pigment epithelium.
