Elder Retinal Branch Vein Occlusion with Sclerosis of Distal Vein (Fluorescence Angiography)

Elder Retinal Branch Vein Occlusion with Sclerosis of Distal Vein (Fluorescence Angiography)
The retinal branch vein occlusion occurred in the area of an arterio-venous crossing. Distally of the occlusion the vein shows a complete sclerosis with no blood flow. The fluorescence angiography reveals retinal ischemic areas with small retinal neovascularisations. It was suggested a therapy with retinal Argon-Laser.
